Submitting a Book for Review

Interested in submitting a book to Bookreporter.com for review? Here is the information that you need.

The majority of our reviews on Bookreporter.com are fiction. We review bestsellers, debut authors, contemporary fiction, historical fiction, mysteries, thrillers, some fantasy/science fiction and some romance. We also delve into nonfiction, newsworthy books, biographies and memoirs. There are several genres that we generally do not review:
How-to
Self-help
Medical/Health
Religion
Travel Guides

On a select basis, we review self-published titles. They must be available with wide distribution offline as well as online. Typically these books come to us with recommendations from publishing colleagues who know the kinds of books that we are interested in reviewing. We have a limited number of reviewers interested in eBooks, thus we rarely cover eBook-only titles.

Please Note: We currently are not accepting unsolicited manuscripts, advance reading copies or finished copies of books. To submit a book for review, please email information about it to Tom Donadio at Tom@bookreporter.com.  Although we cannot guarantee a review, we consider every book that we are pitched.

Due to the volume of submissions that we receive, we cannot contact authors or publishers on the status of a book for review. Typically books are reviewed within 3 months of publication. We suggest you sign up for our newsletter, which will list the content that we are promoting.
